The Nauset Light Country Club was inspired by the Eastham-based Cedar Bank Links golf course developed in the 1920s by Quincy Adams Shaw. Mr. Shaw was a direct descendant of President John Adams. Although the course was sold and decommissioned in 1959, the memory of golf in Eastham is alive and well!

As you may know, Nauset Light has been nationally memorialized on a potato chip bag! Nauset Light itself possesses truly iconic views of the sands of the National Seashore and the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. A truly beautiful setting visited by thousands!

The Nauset Light Country Club also has a sister club, Boston’s iconic Back Bay Country Club. The BBCC was founded in 1977, and has initiated many new members over the years. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to join.

We encourage everyone to enjoy the views from the lighthouse, learn the history of Eastham, and become members of our Club! No one will be turned away, and the membership fee is only $40.00, certainly the most reasonable club fee in the area. In addition there are no monthly spending requirements! A portion of the dues will be donated to the Nauset Light Preservation Society to preserve and maintain the lighthouse.
